How to Post Scores on GAM Website
Posting your score is very important as it allows all levels of players to compete with each other. All HVWGC players are to post your scores 72 hours of playing using the GAM online posting process. The link to the GAM website is www.gam.org.
- Type in address: www.gam.org
- Click on member login (there is a drop down menu)
- Select role of "myself as a golfer"
- Click on large blue post a score button right side of screen
- Choose 18 hole or 9 hole
- We are always "away" tees
- Type in name of course--sometimes they don't come up right away so try a few different spellings, i.e., the Whitmore Lake course is "Links AT Whitmore Lake" not "Links OF Whitmore Lake".
- Click on blue select right before name of course
- Click "select" in front of back nine or front nine "Y"
- Enter score in score box
- Click submit score
- Click done if correct info under "post a score"
- You will receive email notification from GAM that you have posted this score. Check your personal info on the website to make sure your home address and email address are correct so you will receive the magazine and your card.
Scores must be posted from non-HVWGC golf rounds as well as from HVWGC league play.
Know Your Index
All HVWGC players who sub are responsible to know your index (which is used to calculate your handicap for each particular course). The GAM website also has updated information about each HVWGC member's index.
