How Do I Join HVWGC?
The HVWGC membership year begins February 1 of each year. Use the link below for the current year application.

The best time to join HVWGC is before league play has started (mid-April for intermediate and regular leagues, mid-May for learning leagues). But you can join HVWGC at any time.

• Occasionally there are opportunities for either a single player of a pair of partners to join a league after the beginning of league play.
• Another option is to join and play the first summer as a sub. Subs have the opportunity to sub on all HVWGC leagues. Members who join during the summer as a sub are considered returning members with priority to join a league the following year before new members.

Which League is Right for Me?
The Huron Valley Women's Golf Club offers you a choice of league depending on your level of experience and preference of time of day to play.

• Learning Leagues
• Intermediate League
• Summer 18-hole Daytime League
• Regular Leagues

Learning Leagues Our Learning Leagues are right for you if you are a beginning player. The leagues play on par 3 courses - - choose either Monday evening on the Strategic Fox at Fox Hills Golf Course in Plymouth or Tuesday evening on the Little Pine Nine at Pine View Golf Course in Ypsilanti.

The Learning Leagues begin with 4 weeks of lessons before league play. Players from HVWGC's regular leagues serve as mentors to the learning leagues for several weeks during the season.

If you have been thinking of trying the game of golf, HVWGC's Learning League is just the place for you. Come on out and join us!

Intermediate League
Our Intermediate League is right for you if you have some experience playing golf but either do not have an estabalished handicap or want to brush up your skills before joining a regular league. The league plays Monday evening at Pine View Golf Course in Ypsilanti.

The Intermediate League has a relaxed atmosphere and players are supportive and encouraging of each other's improvement during the season. If you have been thinking of joining a league but don't want to get in over your head, HVWGC's Intermediate League is just the place for you. Come on out and join us!

Summer 18-hole Daytime League
This league is right for you if you are available during the day from mid-June through August and enjoy playing 18 holes. The league plays Wednesday morning at Links of Whitmore Lake.

If you are a teacher or are available during the day in the summer, HVWGC's daytime league is just the place for you. Come on out and join us!

Regular Leagues
HVWGC has 7 regular leagues for women who have an established handicap. Leagues have 2-member teams and competition is both on the team and individual level. If you do not have a partner, we can pair you with someone else who needs one. Our leagues play:

• Monday: Leslie Park (Ann Arbor)
• Tuesday: Hudson Mills (Dexter), Links at Whitmore Lake
• Wednesday: Cattails (South Lyon), Stonebridge (Ann Arbor)
• Thursday: Eagle Crest (Ypsilanti), Pine View (Ypsilanti)
